Hi, I'm mountainpeddlers (our ebay id as well). I started selling on Ebay about 5 years ago, made lots of quick cash on old military uniforms and memorabilia from Iraqi Freedom. ( I was still active duty then)
Then when we moved to the mountains, on a clear spring day, my wife and I bought a couple of 3 dollar yard sale items and made close to $200.00, now she was hooked.
After retirement (between jobs) our local Goodwill afforded us (items we bought and resold from them) us to pay all our gas and groceries for over 3 months.
We don't collect anything, unless you count stuff that wouldn't sell on Ebay (now its yardsale time). We sell anything we can.
Have had great success with vintage traditional archery items, percolators, model train items and basically what ever we can get cheap. (of course)
We have been very successfull and held Powerseller for over a year then lost it due to lack of time when I became a realtor 3 months ago. (haven't made much yet)
Ebay has been a major contributor to our income in the last 3 years. From vehicles sold to 3 dollar items that most folks would have thrown away.

Hi Michael,
Welcome! Sounds like you will fit right in with the rest of us.
Didn't know percolators were a big seller. May have to check into that. It still amazes me what people will buy, even more amazing is the prices they are willing to pay!
I am like you, I like to buy cheap and sell high! It is sooooooo hard to throw anything now that I am hooked on eBay!! Ya just never know.... _________________ dee |
